Stella Montis: Week 1 Update & Patch Notes

One Week In

It’s been seven days since we started running ops in Stella Montis. The dust is settling, but it looks like the traders are adjusting their rates again. Also, a heads up for the pistol users—your favorite toy just got a lot heavier.

Market Shake-Up

If you were hoarding Power Cells to pay rent, I have bad news—their value tanked. On the flip side, the Deadline just became a luxury item. Oh, and crafting Launcher Ammo now requires Motion Cores, but at least you don't need a blueprint anymore.

Important Update

PRICE HIKE: Deadline buy price nearly doubled to 15,000 Coins.

  • DEADLINE (BUY): Price jumped from 8,100 to 15,000 Coins.
  • DEADLINE (SELL): Value increased from 3,000 to 5,000 Coins.
  • DEADLINE (CRAFTING): Now requires 3 Explosive Compound + 2 ARC Circuitry. Trader stock limited to 1.
  • POWER CELL: Sell value crashed from 640 to 270 Coins.
  • LAUNCHER AMMO (BUY): You now get less for your money (6 rounds for 4,500 Coins).
  • LAUNCHER AMMO (CRAFTING): New Recipe: 1 ARC Motion Core + 2 Crude Explosives = 6 Rounds. (No Blueprint required).

Weapon Tuning: Venator & Explosives

The Venator was a bit too good at melting squads in close quarters, so they've slowed down its fire rate and made it heavier. Also, the Hullcracker isn't a 'delete button' for big enemies anymore—you'll need to aim a bit better to get that massive damage.

  • VENATOR: Fire-rate upgrades reduced significantly (Max upgrade 60% → 40%).
  • VENATOR: Weight increased from 2kg to 5kg.
  • EXPLOSIVES: Blast damage logic tweaked. You'll do less damage to massive targets like Bastions unless you hit the weak spots directly.
  • APHELION: Fixed those blindingly bright tracers. Blueprint drop rate increased.
  • STITCHER: Fixed the stats UI showing the wrong reload speeds.

Map Security & Exploits

Speranza engineers have been busy sealing up walls. You can't use barricades to glitch through walls anymore, and they fixed a bunch of spots where Raiders were getting stuck or falling through the world.

  • BARRICADES: Can no longer be placed overlapping your character (prevents wall clipping).
  • DAM: Fixed the elevator shaft stick spot.
  • SPACEPORT: Sealed the wall breach near the Launch Tower ramp and the locked Control Tower room.
  • BLUE GATE: Bullets now correctly pass through the railings.
  • STELLA MONTIS: Fixed holes near the Train Station and removed two player spawns that were too close to ARC machines.

ARC & Systems

The Shredder got a driving lesson—it should turn better and actually chase Lure Grenades now. Also, for the PC Raiders, they fixed the voice chat crash and updated the AMD driver recommendations.

  • SHREDDER: Improved handling, braking, and navigation. It won't get stuck on corners as much.
  • ARC: Fixed a bug where reinforcements were dropping outside the map.
  • AUDIO: Explosion 'ringing' effect is quieter.
  • CRASHES: Fixed crashes related to Raider Voice (AVX2) and surrendering.
  • SECRET: Check your Raider Den. Someone... uh... 'ducked' it out.
