Report: ARC is Winning the War

The 91% Club
If you feel like the tunnels are getting crowded, you aren't crazy. New data shows that ARC Raiders has retained a massive 91% of its player base since launch. We hit 439,000 active Raiders just three days ago. For a live-service game in 2026? That is unheard of.
Battlefield's bad Day
Compare that to the other big shooter that dropped in October. Battlefield 6 started strong with nearly 750k players, but they've already lost 85% of them. They are down to about 113,000 active soldiers. Looks like everyone traded their tanks for extraction ships.
- ARC RAIDERS: 91% Retention (Peak: 481k -> Current: 439k).
- BATTLEFIELD 6: 85% Loss (Peak: 747k -> Current: 113k).
- MARVEL RIVALS: Settled at ~100k concurrents (down 50% from launch).
The Winter Effect
Why are we sticking around? Honestly, Speranza keeps feeding us good stuff. That Winter Update added weather, gear, and fixed a ton of bugs fast. When the devs actually fix the game, people tend to stay playing it. Who knew?
Looking Ahead: Marathon
Bungie's 'Marathon' is dropping in March, but good luck to them. ARC has set the bar insanely high for extraction shooters. Are people going to pay $40 to switch games when they're already addicted to this one? We'll see, but right now, ARC is the king of the hill.
